More than 85% of the bottle's materials are bio-based and derived from sugarcane. Unlike conventional petroleum-based plastics, the production process uses ethanol obtained from renewable plant sources. This helps reduce manufacturing-related emissions while maintaining mechanical strength and durability comparable to traditional plastics. The result is a practical sports bottle produced with a greater emphasis on renewable raw materials.
The high-flow drinking valve, developed for Elite's FLY bottle range, delivers a fast, generous stream of liquid with minimal squeezing effort. There is no need to pull or force the valve open, making hydration quick and convenient even during intense cycling. The soft, easily squeezable body and ergonomic shape provide a secure grip in demanding riding conditions.
The Jet Sugar Cane features a 45 mm wide bottle opening, approximately 20% larger than a standard opening. This makes filling the bottle, adding sports drink powders and everyday hand-washing considerably easier. The cap and drinking valve can be completely disassembled for thorough cleaning and faster drying, helping maintain good hygiene throughout regular use.
With a 74 mm diameter, the bottle fits standard bicycle bottle cages, while its compact, carefully designed shape provides stable retention even on bicycles with smaller frames.
