The B/DAEHLIE Elite is the lightest 3-layer softshell ski jacket in the BD collection, built for intense winter training and racing when you wear only a baselayer underneath. Its Slim Fit and ultra-light construction are made for the fastest and most demanding skiers.
On colder winter days it also works well for lower-intensity sessions when paired with an extra layer or thicker wool baselayer. The jacket is equally ideal for autumn and spring, worn over a sports shirt or baselayer when you want wind protection without overheating.
The front uses a 3-layer softshell laminated with a Porelle® PU membrane for strong wind and weather protection (20,000 WP). The membrane is designed to keep moisture out while releasing moisture from the inside, so the jacket dries quickly and breathes effectively during high-intensity efforts. A durable water-repellent finish further supports wet-weather performance.
The back combines durable interlock fabric with a 37.5® mesh panel. This technology helps maintain an ideal core temperature of 37.5 °C by cooling when warm and warming when cold. Strategically placed elastic panels, raglan sleeves and articulated sleeve shaping improve mobility, while bonded seams reduce friction. Adjustable hem, bonded cuffs, chin guard, YKK zippers and two zippered hand pockets complete this race-ready jacket.

DÆHLIE (formerly Bjørn Dæhlie) is a premium Norwegian sportswear brand, founded in 1996 — at the peak of his career — by Norwegian cross-country skiing legend Bjørn Dæhlie. The brand name is also his CV: 8 Olympic golds and 12 medals in total, 17 World Championship medals and one of the most successful Winter Olympic careers in history. In 2016 the brand was rebranded as DÆHLIE and the range expanded from cross-country apparel into endurance sports more broadly — today the collection also covers running, hiking and everyday active living. DÆHLIE is the official supplier to the Norwegian Cross-Country Ski Team and its test pilots include the very top of the sport, like Therese Johaug and Petter Northug, who give the final feedback on new products on the snow.
