The Northwave SURFA MERINO BASELAYER is a technical merino wool base layer designed to help maintain a comfortable body temperature during and after physical activity. Merino wool provides natural temperature regulation, while polyamide and elastane improve durability, stretch and a close, comfortable fit.

The fabric is made from 67% merino wool, 22% polyamide and 11% elastane. Its excellent breathability helps manage moisture during demanding rides and other active sports. The Superwash-treated merino wool is machine washable at temperatures up to 40 °C, making the garment practical for regular use.

The wool is mulesing-free and RWS-certified, supporting responsible and ethical sourcing. SURFA MERINO BASELAYER also offers a versatile fit – by choosing one size larger than your usual size, it can be comfortably worn as a standalone gravel cycling jersey.
