Backpack Fischer BACKPACK RACE 40L

Fischer is one of Austria’s best-known and most established winter sports brands, with a history that began in 1924 in Ried im Innkreis, Upper Austria. From a small woodworking workshop, Fischer has grown into one of the world’s leading ski equipment manufacturers — a brand with a particularly strong reputation in cross-country skiing. Fischer Sports is still headquartered in Ried im Innkreis and remains one of the most important names in the Austrian winter sports industry.

Fischer’s strength has always been technical precision. Its skis, boots, bindings and accessories are designed to transfer energy as efficiently as possible into snow contact, glide and control. The range includes equipment for both classic and skating technique, for recreational skiers and racers, for training and long-distance ski marathons.

In cross-country skiing, Fischer has been one of the absolute top brands for decades. Its skis are used at World Cup, World Championship and Olympic level, while the same development expertise also reaches models designed for recreational skiers. This connection between elite-level racing and everyday skiing is what makes Fischer a reliable choice both for serious athletes and for skiers who simply want better glide, more secure grip and a more comfortable ride.

At the heart of Fischer’s product range are cross-country skis and boots, where every detail matters: ski stiffness, camber, base material, grip zone, boot fit and power transfer. For classic skis, this means a good balance between grip and glide; for skate skis, it means stability, speed and precise edge control. In its boot range, Fischer focuses on fit, support and comfort, helping skiers move efficiently and technically even over longer distances.

Fischer’s philosophy is simple: good ski equipment should make skiing more precise, faster and more enjoyable. Whether it is the first training kilometres of the season, a long ski marathon or a local cross-country trail, Fischer is a brand for skiers who value quality, reliability and the pure feeling of movement on snow.
