Overview
ARCTIX FORESTER Backcountry Ski Bindings for Winter Boots
ARCTIX FORESTER are durable stainless steel and textile backcountry ski bindings designed for use with winter boots. They are screw-mounted onto touring skis and rely on a boot with a heel cavity or wide sole to keep the spring section securely in place.
These bindings have been used for decades on military skis in Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Estonia, and are also known as Finngrip Erä. A reliable choice for harsh winter conditions, long treks, or hunting expeditions.
Mounting instructions: determine the ski balance point and position the binding so that the rear edge of the metal toe holder aligns with or is slightly ahead of the balance point. Pre-drill screw holes using a 3.5 mm drill bit.
