Adventure Food is a premium Dutch outdoor food brand producing lightweight freeze-dried instant meals for hikers, mountaineers and adventurers. The brand was founded by Hans van der Meulen — the first Dutchman to summit Mount Everest without supplementary oxygen and a member of the first Dutch expedition to reach the North Pole on foot — meaning every meal is developed based on the real-world demands of serious expeditions: high calorie content, solid protein and nutrient levels, low pack weight and a long shelf life (up to 48 months). The range covers breakfasts, savoury main courses, desserts and vegetarian options — from classic pasta carbonara to vanilla and chocolate desserts.
