The Fizik TERRA ARTICA X2 is a waterproof, breathable and insulated winter mountain bike shoe designed for riding in cold and wet conditions. Its protective construction keeps out rain, snow and cold air while maintaining good breathability and a comfortable internal climate during active pedalling.
The waterproof and breathable eVent membrane prevents external moisture from entering the shoe while allowing excess heat and perspiration to escape. The durable ripstop fabric upper is engineered to resist tearing, abrasion and contact with branches, rocks and other trail obstacles.
The X2 outsole combines a nylon shank, compressed EVA midsole and Vibram Megagrip rubber tread. Its stiffness index of 3 provides an effective balance between efficient pedalling performance and the flexibility required for comfortable walking. Vibram Megagrip rubber delivers dependable traction both on the pedals and across wet, slippery or uneven terrain.
The BOA L6 dial allows the fit to be adjusted quickly and precisely. A high zippered ankle cuff helps protect the foot from cold air, spray and dirt while making the shoe easy to open and close. Each shoe weighs approximately 438 grams in size 42.
