REX NFX Blue is a fluor-free liquid quick wax built primarily for racing and designed to deliver maximum glide with minimal effort. The recommended air temperature range is -2…-12°C, yet it also boosts glide noticeably in milder conditions as long as the snow is not overly wet.

The formula contains Rex’s top race paraffin NF21, blended with Rex NFX21 and Olos powders. The resulting mix provides World Cup level glide in a safe, economical and very easy-to-use format. It targets the same conditions as NF21, but at a higher performance level.

NFX Blue is the most universal wax in the NFX series. Choose it when conditions are changing or uncertain. It is especially strong on mixed snow, for example when fresh snow is skied into an older base or when a groomed/frozen track contains multiple layers with varying texture and moisture.

Durability is up to 30 km (less on icy tracks). Glide decreases gradually, not suddenly. Longevity depends on base condition and wax retention, and improves when applied over a hot wax base layer. One 60 ml sponge bottle covers approximately 15 pairs of skis.

NFX is ideal when you want the fastest skis with minimal hassle: no heating, scraping or messy wax shavings. You only need a nylon brush. Since it is non-aerosol, it is travel-friendly and easy to apply even where waxing facilities are limited. Keep in mind the wax should dry for about 20 minutes, and durability is lower than hot-applied paraffins and powders.

Clean the base first, shake well, spread a thin, even layer using the sponge applicator (classic skis: glide zones only), let dry for 20 minutes at room temperature, then brush with a nylon brush. For best durability, apply in a warm room and, if possible, leave the skis leads-to-wax overnight.
