The Shimano SM-AX56-A E-THRU rear axle is designed for modern disc brake bikes, offering secure and reliable wheel fixation. Thanks to Shimano’s internal cam mechanism, wheel installation and removal are smooth, fast and consistently tensioned.
The integrated quick release lever allows tool-free operation, while the right-side mounting nut version features interchangeable threaded inserts to fine-tune the lever position. This ensures clean integration with the frame and excellent ergonomics.
