The Shimano STEPS EW-SW310 is a compact power switch with an integrated LED display for Shimano STEPS EP8 EP801/EP600 e-bike systems. It combines an on/off button, function button and clear indication of battery charge status and selected assist level in one clean, frame-integrated unit.

The EW-SW310 helps create a tidy and minimalist cockpit for both e-MTB and Road Di2 e-bikes. It is compatible with Shimano DU-EP801 and DU-EP600 drive units as well as second-generation Shimano STEPS batteries, making it a modern control solution for newer STEPS platforms.

Its semi-integrated design uses the same frame requirement as the EW-SW300, helping keep frame openings minimal and installation neat. Two EW-SD300 ports allow convenient system connection, while firmware updates via the E-TUBE Project help maintain correct communication and up-to-date component performance.
