Tube TUBOLITO S-CX/GRAVEL 700x32/50MM FV/PV 60mm black DISC 35g
ULTRA-LIGHT. STRONG. ULTRA-COMPACT.
This is the world's lightest and smallest CX/Gravel inner tube, weighing a mere 36 grams. This is a significant difference compared to conventional inner tubes, which weigh 100–150 grams. The S-Tubo-CX/Gravel, due to its ultra-small packing size, is the ideal spare tube for all 700C and 650B tires with widths from 30 mm – 47 mm.
Tubolito inner tubes are made from thermoplastic elastomer (TPU), which offers air retention comparable to standard tubes – it holds air many times better than latex tubes. At the same time, they are significantly more durable and considerably lighter. Although latex has slightly lower rolling resistance, the Tubolito S-Tubo-CX/Gravel offers low rolling resistance, which can be a decisive advantage in competitions. It is as strong as a standard inner tube and can be used in sub-zero temperatures for daily rides.
Not just a spare: While designed to fit in any small pocket, the S-Tubo-CX/Gravel can be perfectly used on a daily basis as it is still as robust as standard rubber tubes. Leftovers of tubeless liquids do not harm it.
Weight savings and economic advantage: By combining Tubolito inner tubes with a lightweight outer tire, you can save over 100g per wheel even compared to tubeless setups. This is because TLR (Tubeless Ready) tires themselves weigh +100g more, plus sealant (50g), a special valve, and extra rim tape. Additionally, non-TLR outer tires are often more affordable. The product is manufactured in Austria.
NB! Important Notes:
- The S-TUBO series is designed for disc brake wheels ONLY (may not withstand the heat generated by rim brakes).
- Maximum pressure: 8 BAR / 115 PSI. Without an outer tire, the inner tube should never be inflated to a pressure above 0.5 BAR.
- The same inner tube is not designed for use with differently sized outer tires, especially when switching from a larger to a smaller size, as it will not return to its original size after being under pressure (plastic deformation).
