Designed for World Cup-level racing, the FC-M825 features the strongest steel axle in Shimano’s lineup and a highly reinforced construction. Steel pedal thread inserts enhance long-term durability under heavy use. The 83 mm bottom bracket shell width and wide 193 mm Q-factor provide maximum stability and control during big hits and high-speed descents.
The crankset is intended for use with the SM-CR82 chainring (34T, 36T or 38T – not included). A 57.9 mm chainline matches wider hub standards (O.L.D 150/157 mm), ensuring optimal drivetrain alignment for gravity-focused riding.
