The Shimano CUES FC-U4000-1 is a durable square taper MTB crankset designed for 1x9-, 1x10- and 1x11-speed LINKGLIDE drivetrains. It delivers excellent power transfer and superior chain retention, ensuring confident riding on rough and technical terrain. The wide gear range and harmonious pedalling performance encourage riders to explore more demanding trails.
The specially shaped chainring profile with DYNAMIC CHAIN ENGAGEMENT+ technology improves chain grip and retention for smoother riding over uneven surfaces. A 178 mm Q-factor and 52 mm chainline make it compatible with modern MTB and trekking frames, including Boost standards. The FC-U4000-1 is compatible exclusively with LINKGLIDE systems and also supports HG 11-speed chains.
