Maxxis Assegai is Greg Minnaar’s signature tire, designed to deliver tenacious and predictable grip across the entire tire profile, no matter the lean angle. It is built for trail, enduro and downhill riding, and works especially well as a front tire where confident steering and traction matter most.

The aggressive Assegai tread helps maintain control in a wide range of trail conditions, offering a planted feel when cornering, braking and riding technical sections. The 2.50" WT size is optimized for rims with a 30–35 mm internal width, helping create the correct tire profile and stable side support.

EXO sidewall protection helps resist cuts and abrasion while keeping the tire light and flexible. The Tubeless Ready construction allows the tire to be used without an inner tube, improving traction, reducing rolling resistance and helping lower the risk of flats.
