Winter MTB Shoes GIRO BLAZE

The GIRO BLAZE is a technical winter mountain bike shoe designed to deliver warmth, weather protection and comfort in riding conditions down to –10 °C. Its modern low-bulk construction combines effective insulation, waterproofing and breathability to help keep the feet warmer and drier during demanding winter rides.

At the heart of the shoe is a moisture-wicking mountain bike inner shoe surrounded by a channelled, high-loft Primaloft® synthetic insulation layer. The upper provides 10,000 mm waterproof performance and 10,000 g/m² breathability, protecting against rain, snow, slush and cold wind while allowing internally generated moisture to escape.

The stretch-woven outer fabric and elastic ankle collar provide a close fit that helps prevent cold air and debris from entering the shoe. Fully seam-sealed stitching improves waterproof protection, while the breathable mesh inner shoe efficiently moves moisture away from the foot.

Thermobonded rubber reinforcements at the toe and heel protect against abrasion, impacts and trail obstacles. Integrated ankle padding improves support and comfort, while reflective details at the heel and side profile increase visibility in low-light conditions.

The heat-reflective footbed combines high-loft fleece with laminated foil to reduce heat loss through the sole. A nylon-composite outsole plate provides supportive pedalling performance, while the dual-injected soft-rubber Ice Grip tread delivers dependable traction on icy, wet and slippery ground.
