Winter MTB Shoes Fizik TERRA CLIMA X
The Fizik TERRA CLIMA X is a weatherproof and breathable mountain bike shoe designed for changing and demanding riding conditions. Suitable for use across three seasons, it provides dependable comfort and protection on dry trails as well as in wet, muddy and cool weather.
The weatherproof internal liner helps prevent external moisture from entering the shoe while allowing moisture vapour generated inside to escape. This helps regulate temperature and maintain a more comfortable internal climate during longer and more intensive rides.
The upper is made from layered, hard-wearing ripstop fabric that resists tearing, abrasion and contact with trail obstacles. A polyurethane-laminated toe cap and reinforced side panels provide additional durability and protection against rocks, branches, mud and trail spray.
An integrated sock-like knitted gaiter fits closely around the ankle and helps keep out dust, sand, stones and other trail debris. Its flexible construction maintains natural ankle mobility while pedalling or walking with the bike.
The closure system combines a BOA L6 dial with a single hook-and-loop strap. The sturdy strap quickly and securely stabilises the instep, while the BOA system provides precise, micro-adjustable control over the fit around the forefoot.
The X2 outsole is engineered to provide an optimal balance between efficient pedalling, walking comfort and reliable off-road control. A nylon shank provides support while pedalling, the compressed EVA midsole adds stability and cushioning, and the Vibram Megagrip rubber tread delivers dependable traction on wet, dry and uneven terrain.

Fizik is an Italian premium cycling brand focused on the contact points between rider and bike — saddles, cycling shoes, handlebar tapes and other components that directly influence comfort, control and performance.
Part of the Selle Royal Group, the brand combines Italian design, biomechanics and experience from competitive cycling. While Selle Royal has historically been known for comfortable saddles for urban, trekking and recreational riding, Fizik was created for a more performance-oriented direction — for riders who expect every contact point on the bike to work precisely, efficiently and with minimal weight.
Fizik’s saddle range is built around different riding positions, rider mobility and disciplines. Well-known saddle families such as Arione, Antares, Aliante and Argo offer different shapes, from long and flat racing saddles to shorter-nose models designed to help reduce pressure in sensitive areas. The range includes options for road cycling, gravel, mountain biking and triathlon.
One of the brand’s most advanced technologies is the Adaptive series — saddles with 3D-printed padding, where the zonal structure is designed to provide support and comfort exactly where the rider needs it. This makes it possible to combine race-level stiffness, low weight and improved pressure distribution in a way that is difficult to achieve with traditional foam padding.
In addition to saddles, Fizik produces high-end cycling shoes for road, gravel and mountain biking. The focus is on stiffness, fit, power transfer and ventilation — qualities that matter both to racers and demanding enthusiasts. Handlebar tapes and other accessories complete the range, giving the rider a consistent feel across all key contact points.
Fizik’s philosophy is simple: the best ride starts where the rider meets the bike. Saddles, shoes and handlebars are not just accessories — they determine whether a ride feels fast, comfortable and controlled, or becomes harder with every kilometre.
