The Shimano XT RD-M8100 SGS is a high-end 12-speed mountain bike rear derailleur featuring an aggressive angled design and an anodized aluminum finish. It is equipped with larger 13-tooth pulleys and Shimano’s proven SHIMANO SHADOW RD+ low-profile technology for fast and precise shifting on technical trails.
The RD-M8100 SGS version is designed for 1x drivetrains and is compatible with 10–51T 12-speed cassettes. Shadow RD+ clutch technology reduces chain slap and improves drivetrain stability on rough terrain, while the optimized design lowers chain tension in low gears.
