The Shimano Deore XT RD-M8100 GS is a high-performance 1x12-speed MTB rear derailleur engineered for fast, precise and quiet shifting on any trail. The XT M8100 series combines advanced engineering and durability to deliver stable drivetrain performance on technical terrain.
Featuring SHIMANO SHADOW RD+ technology and a low-profile design, it reduces chain slap and protects the derailleur from rocks and obstacles. Reduced tension in lower gears improves control and ensures a quiet drivetrain in every gear position.
The RD-M8100 GS is optimised for 10–45T 12-speed cassettes, providing a wide gear range with a compact chainring setup. Enlarged 13T pulleys enhance efficiency and reduce friction, while the new bumper design increases durability in demanding conditions.
