Equipped with SHIMANO SHADOW RD+ technology, the derailleur features a low-profile design with an integrated clutch mechanism that improves chain stability and reduces chain slap and vibration on rough terrain. The result is a quieter and more secure drivetrain even during aggressive riding.

The SGS long cage version supports wide-range drivetrains and is compatible with 3x11, 2x11, and 1x11 setups. It supports a maximum sprocket size of 40T (3x11), 42T (2x11), or 46T (1x11). With a maximum front difference of 18T and fluorine-coated link bushings to reduce friction, it ensures exceptionally smooth and precise shifting.
