Northwave BOMB BAGGY Shorts are REGULAR FIT non-padded mountain bike shorts developed primarily for enduro and trail riding. Their versatile construction also makes them suitable for hiking, urban cycling, and other active outdoor use.

These shorts are the shorter version of the Northwave BOMB PANTS and were developed in cooperation with the Commencal Enduro Team and experienced enduro riders Cédric and Cécile Ravanel. The design focuses on freedom of movement, durability, and practical performance on demanding technical trails.

Stretchy and breathable denim-style fabric follows the rider's natural movements both in and out of the saddle. It allows unrestricted pedalling, dynamic body positioning on descents, and fast movement on technical terrain while maintaining a secure and comfortable fit.

The fabric features a fluorocarbon-free PFC-free DWR water-repellent treatment that helps water and mud splashes bead and roll away from the surface. It does not make the shorts fully waterproof, but it provides useful protection in changing weather and wet trail conditions.

An elasticated lumbar panel adapts to the rider's movements and helps keep the shorts securely positioned. A silicone waist gripper reduces slipping, while the ratchet closure with retaining teeth allows precise incremental adjustment.

Two zipped front pockets provide secure storage for a phone, keys, or other small essentials. The zip closures help keep belongings safely in place during fast descents and over rough terrain.

An abrasion-resistant insert in the crotch area protects the fabric from repeated contact with the saddle. This improves durability and helps reduce chafing and discomfort during longer rides.

The shorts do not include an integrated pad, but padded liner shorts can be worn underneath. Compatible inner shorts can also be attached inside for a more secure and integrated riding setup.
