Scraper REX XC Ski 5mm PistenBully

A rigid, non-flexing 5 mm acrylic scraper featuring a design print, intended for experienced ski technicians working with straight and well-prepared cross-country ski bases. Its hardness enables fast and efficient removal of excess glide wax, ensuring a smooth and clean finish.

For older skis with softer or uneven bases (e.g., older Madshus models), a more flexible 3 mm scraper is recommended. The same applies to beginners — a stiff scraper is powerful but can also damage soft plastic if used incorrectly.

Sharpen the scraper edges regularly using 150–200 grit sandpaper on a flat surface or a dedicated scraper sharpener.

P.S. The pictured PistenBully 400 Park groomer is designed for shaping alpine slopes and snow parks — symbolically tough enough to “plow through” thick wax layers.
