The SWIX T18W-100 Merino Wool is a 100 mm wide roto brush featuring 20 mm long merino wool hairs. It represents a new and revolutionary way of applying ski wax without the need for a waxing iron. The method is especially effective for harder waxes such as the Marathon series.

Application is done in two simple steps. First, apply the wax to the rotating wool brush by holding the wax against it for a few seconds at approximately 1500 RPM. Then apply the wax to the ski base using the same speed with light pressure. Start at the tip and work back and forth about one foot at a time toward the tail. Repeat three times for application and three times for polishing.

This trendy waxing technique is widely used at World Cup level and works perfectly with fluor-free ski waxes. The result is a smooth, durable glide layer ideal for racing and base preparation.
