The Maxxis Rekon Race is a semi-slick XC racing tire designed for maximum speed and efficiency in dry and fast conditions. It is part of Maxxis’ World Championship-winning tire lineup, offering an excellent balance of speed and control.

The tread is based on the Rekon trail version but features smaller and lower-profile knobs to reduce rolling resistance and increase speed. This makes it ideal for short-track racing and fast terrain. It is often used as a rear tire paired with a more aggressive front tire or front and rear for short-course events.

The 120 TPI casing provides a great balance of weight, durability, and ride comfort. Dual Compound technology combines two rubber compounds to deliver low rolling resistance on straights and improved cornering grip.

EXO sidewall protection increases resistance against cuts and abrasion while maintaining flexibility. The Tubeless Ready (TR) design allows lower tire pressures for improved traction and reduced puncture risk.

For tubeless setup, install on compatible rims and use sealant. Regular sealant maintenance ensures optimal performance and protection.
