REX BASE Klister 55ml

REX BASE is a specialised base klister used beneath all types of kick waxes — both klisters and hardwax products — to improve their durability and adhesion to the ski base. It must be applied warm, and the layer must be fully cooled and hardened before any additional grip wax is added.

Proper base preparation includes cleaning the kick zone, lightly roughening the surface and applying warmed klister in drops, thin lines or a herringbone pattern. The product is then heated and smoothed into a thin, even layer using a synthetic cork or the thumb. Once the ski groove and edges are cleaned, the base must be allowed to cool fully until it no longer sticks to the finger.

REX BASE provides an ideal foundation layer for all further klister or hardwax applications, especially on abrasive tracks or in changing conditions where durability is critical.
