The Maxxis Shorty is an aggressive wet-condition mountain bike tire, redesigned with feedback from World Cup downhill and enduro riders. The updated model delivers improved grip, cornering performance, and excellent mud clearance in the toughest conditions.

The reworked knob layout enhances traction on wet terrain and provides confident cornering. The open tread pattern efficiently sheds mud, keeping performance consistent even in deep, soft conditions.

The 3C MaxxGrip triple compound offers maximum traction and control, making it ideal for downhill and enduro racing. It is Maxxis’ softest and most grippy rubber, trusted by top-level athletes.

The Downhill casing (60x2 TPI) ensures extreme durability and impact resistance, while the narrower 2.4" profile improves frame clearance in muddy conditions and reduces weight.

The Wide Trail (WT) design is optimized for 30–35 mm internal rim widths. The Tubeless Ready (TR) system allows lower pressures for better traction and reduced puncture risk.
