Continental Dubnital Trail Rapid is a fast mountain bike tire developed for modern Cross-Country, Down-Country and Trail riding. Replacing the highly regarded Continental Race King, Dubnital features a completely redesigned tread pattern focused on outright speed, improved braking performance and dependable cornering grip. It is particularly well suited to dry to damp conditions on rocky hardpack and moderately loose terrain.

The redesigned center tread uses larger, siped knobs to generate effective traction while maintaining fast rolling characteristics. Reinforced and siped transition knobs provide additional support while cornering and on off-camber sections. Larger shoulder knobs with additional sipes improve lateral grip and cornering stability, helping the rider maintain speed and control through more technical sections.

The Trail Casing is designed to be adaptive, agile and robust. Its one-ply construction and specially selected materials allow the tire to conform efficiently to the terrain, while reinforced sidewalls and crown provide increased puncture protection for demanding Down-Country and Trail riding. A folding aramid bead and optimized bead-area design make the tire Tubeless Ready and compatible with hookless rims.

The Rapid Compound is designed for riders who prioritize speed, efficient rolling and rapid acceleration on both flat sections and climbs. Its characteristics are inspired by Continental compounds used in road, race and gravel tires. All compounds in this tire range incorporate Continental BlackChili Compound technology to provide an effective balance of rolling performance, grip and durability.
