Continental Dubnital Trail Rapid is a fast mountain bike tire designed primarily for modern Cross-Country and Down-Country riding, where efficient rolling, strong acceleration and confident control are essential. Replacing the highly regarded Continental Race King, Dubnital features a completely redesigned tread pattern that delivers an improved balance of speed, braking performance and cornering grip. It is particularly well suited to dry to damp conditions on rocky hardpack and moderately loose terrain.

The center tread uses larger, siped knobs to generate effective traction while maintaining fast rolling characteristics. Reinforced and redesigned transition knobs provide additional support when cornering and riding off-camber sections. Larger shoulder knobs with additional sipes improve lateral grip and cornering stability, helping the rider maintain control through faster and more technical sections.

The Trail Casing is designed to be adaptive, agile and robust. Its one-ply construction and carefully selected materials help the tire conform efficiently to the terrain, while reinforced sidewalls and crown improve puncture protection. This makes it well suited to demanding Down-Country and Trail use. A folding aramid bead and optimized bead-area design make the tire Tubeless Ready and compatible with hookless rims.

The Rapid Compound is engineered for riders who prioritize speed, efficient rolling and rapid acceleration on both flat sections and climbs. Its characteristics are inspired by compounds used in Continental road, race and gravel tires. The compound also incorporates Continental BlackChili Compound technology to combine fast rolling performance, dependable grip and durability.
