The Shimano XTR RD-M9100 GS is a high-end 1x12-speed mountain bike rear derailleur optimized for Shimano’s latest 12-speed drivetrain systems. The XTR M9100 series introduces a new level of drivetrain silence thanks to reduced tension in low gears and an added bumper on the pulley cage.
Larger 13T pulleys enhance chain management and efficiency, while SHIMANO SHADOW RD+ technology minimizes chain slap and ensures stable performance on technical terrain. The GS (medium cage) version is compatible with 10–45T cassettes and offers 28 mm more ground clearance compared to the SGS version.
Designed for aggressive riding and race-level performance, the RD-M9100-GS delivers fast and precise shifting, optimal small sprocket combinations and a quiet drivetrain in all conditions.
