The Northwave CLAN FLAT cycling shoes are durable flat-pedal MTB shoes designed for downhill, enduro, BMX, park and pumptrack riding. They are engineered to deliver secure pedal control, effective shock absorption and comfortable movement when walking off the bike.

The exclusive Northwave flat sole system has been developed to provide maximum control on flat pedals. Its co-developed MICHELIN-NW rubber compound delivers outstanding grip and helps keep the foot securely positioned during fast descents, jumps and technical trail sections.

A deeper tread pattern at the toe and heel improves walking traction, especially on steep, rocky or loose mountain terrain. The sole remains flexible enough for comfortable walking while retaining the support required for controlled and efficient pedalling.

The unique adaptive TPU shank uses strategically positioned openings and calibrated stiffness to improve support and pedal control. An EVA midsole absorbs impacts and vibration, reducing stress on the feet during technical riding and longer sessions.

The abrasion-resistant welded upper features large breathable mesh inserts that improve airflow and help keep the foot comfortable. Welded TPU reinforcements at the toe and heel protect against impacts, rocks and repeated abrasion.

The mesh tongue uses customised padding to combine protection with breathability. Non-stretch laces create a secure and consistent fit, while an elasticated lace keeper allows them to be stored safely against the shoe while riding.
