Powder REX NFX 00 SISU BLACK 20g

REX NFX 00 SISU BLACK is an ultra high wear-resistant fluoro-free race powder developed specifically for fresh snow and long-distance skiing. It is the perfect choice for ski marathons where durability and consistent glide throughout the race are essential. The black version is optimized for new snow but performs reliably across all temperature ranges.

The powder contains UHW (Ultra Hard Wax) particles – extremely hard and durable components that provide outstanding wear resistance and repel dirt in abrasive snow. This is the first UHW-containing product that can be ironed in, made possible by its powder form. A unique nano compound delivers additional speed especially on fresh snow.

NFX powders represent Rex’s revolutionary fluoro-free racing technology developed with top national ski teams. Instead of fluorocarbons, they use micronized Rex Power Polymer compounds combined with hydrophobic additives and N-Kinetic nanoparticles to create a strong and durable glide matrix on the ski base.

The melting point is 140°C, but for best results use a waxing iron at 180–220°C. Apply the powder to the base, melt in carefully and scrape while still warm. Brush thoroughly with a stiff nylon brush and avoid overheating the ski base. Although fluoro-free, using an FFP3 mask is recommended to prevent inhalation of fine dust.
