The Shimano CUES FD-U4000 front derailleur is designed for reliable and smooth 2x9/10-speed performance on mountain and trekking bikes. The modern Side-Swing mechanism reduces cable friction and improves efficiency, ensuring precise shifting even on rough terrain.
An adaptable chain line of 48.8 mm (142 mm rear spacing) or 51.8 mm (148 mm Boost) allows compatibility with various frame standards. It supports dual chainring combinations of 36–22T and 40–26T, providing versatile gearing for steep climbs and efficient cruising.
The Direct Mount interface delivers a stiff and accurate frame connection for improved shifting stability. The FD-U4000 is compatible exclusively with the LINKGLIDE system (also HG 11-speed chain compatible), ensuring smooth, quiet operation and enhanced durability under heavy use.
