Racing glider REX NFX BLACK +5…-10°C 60ml new snow

REX NFX Black is a fluor-free liquid quick wax designed primarily for racing in new snow conditions. It works in air temperatures from +5 to -10°C and is intended for fresh, untreated or pressed snow that has not significantly mixed with old snow.

The formula contains Rex’s best new-snow race paraffin NF21G, blended with Rex NFX21G and Olos powders. The result delivers World Cup level glide in a safe, economical and very easy-to-use format. It targets the same conditions as NF21G, but at a higher performance level.

NFX Black excels on fresh snow that has not gone through melt-freeze cycles and has not turned into old abrasive snow. It is also ideal in heavy snowfall, when new snow quickly covers the track and many universal waxes lose speed.

It can also shine in variable situations where fresh drifted snow covers parts of an older base. NF21G’s anti-static properties, combined with the powder effect, provide a significant advantage on fresh snow, keeping the skis feeling free and fast.

Durability is up to 30 km (less on icy tracks). Glide decreases gradually, not suddenly. Longevity depends on base condition and wax retention and improves when applied over a hot wax base. One 60 ml sponge bottle treats approximately 15 pairs of skis.

NFX waxes are ideal when you want maximum speed with minimal effort: no heating, scraping or messy wax shavings. Only a nylon brush is needed. Non-aerosol and travel-friendly, it can be applied even where waxing facilities are limited. Allow the wax to dry for about 20 minutes; durability is lower than hot-applied paraffins and powders.

Clean the base, shake well, spread a thin even layer with the sponge applicator (classic skis: glide zones only), let dry for 20 minutes at room temperature, then brush with a nylon brush. For improved durability, apply in a warm room and leave overnight; drying time can be shortened carefully using gentle warmth from a hair dryer or heater.
