The Shimano CUES FD-U4000-M Side-Swing front derailleur is part of the highly durable LINKGLIDE component system, engineered for long-lasting and smooth performance on MTB and trekking bikes. It is compatible with 2x9 and 2x10-speed drivetrains and supports 36–22T and 40–26T chainring combinations optimized for mountain bikes.

Side-Swing technology reduces cable friction and increases shifting efficiency, delivering light, quiet and precise front shifts in all conditions. Compatibility with 48.8 mm (142 mm) and 51.8 mm (148 mm Boost) chain lines ensures flexible integration with different frame standards.

The 34.9 mm clamp mount, including 31.8 mm and 28.6 mm adapters, provides broad compatibility with various seat tube diameters. The FD-U4000-M is compatible exclusively with the LINKGLIDE system (also HG 11-speed chain), ensuring enhanced durability and stable drivetrain performance under heavy use.
