The Shimano PD-ED500 SPD pedals are designed for sporty city riding and road touring, offering a great balance of comfort, reliability and easy usability. The stable integrated cage platform provides extra support and control even when the rider is not yet clipped in.
The dual-sided SPD design allows quick and easy engagement, while the Light Action mechanism makes clipping in and out effortless. This makes the PD-ED500 ideal for commuting, touring and riders who prefer an easier pedal engagement.
A durable chromoly steel axle and sealed cartridge bearings ensure smooth rotation and low maintenance. Adjustable release tension lets riders fine-tune pedal feel. The pedals come supplied with SM-SH56 multi-directional release cleats for safe and easy operation.
