Base Wax REX BASE WAX 45g

Rex Base Wax features an improved formula with excellent adhesion and durability, designed as a base layer for all hard kick waxes. The denser, non-stretching texture makes it easy to apply evenly on the grip zone.

For best results, sand the clean grip zone with fine sandpaper (100–120 grit) before application. Rub a thin layer of base wax onto the grip zone and heat it with an iron or heat gun (be careful not to overheat). Smooth the layer using a synthetic cork and allow the ski to cool completely before applying other waxes. Using base wax reduces the amount of kick wax needed and improves elasticity, grip, and durability.

Note: Use the orange base wax only under hard kick waxes. For klister bases, use Rex Blue Klister instead.
