The Shimano STEPS SM-DUE11 is a speed sensor unit for Shimano STEPS e-bike systems, designed specifically for bikes with disc brakes. It accurately detects wheel speed and sends the required information to the drive unit, helping the system deliver smooth, natural and well-timed assistance.

The SM-DUE11 features an MTB-dedicated design with a robust and durable platform for rough trails and demanding riding conditions. Its compact, clean and low-profile construction helps maintain a tidy bike appearance while leaving more space for wider tires.

This sensor is compatible with Shimano STEPS E8000, E7000 and E6100 series systems and is intended for use with the CENTER LOCK disc brake system. It works in combination with an e-bike specific rear disc brake rotor and magnet bracket. The magnet bracket is not compatible with current standard rotors.
