The Shimano STEPS EW-SW300 is a compact satellite system on/off switch for Shimano STEPS EP8 e-bikes. It allows convenient activation and shutdown of the e-bike system while maintaining a clean, discreet and well-integrated appearance on the frame.

Its semi-integrated construction helps minimize the required frame opening, creating a neater and more practical installation for the e-bike control system. The EW-SW300 is designed for use with Shimano STEPS BT-E8035, BT-E8035-L and BT-E8036 batteries and connects via Shimano’s newer-generation EW-SD300 electric wire.

With one switch and one EW-SD300 connector, this unit offers a simple, reliable and well-matched solution for e-MTB bikes equipped with Shimano EP8 systems. Firmware updates via the E-TUBE Project help keep the system current and ensure correct communication between components.
