The Northwave CORE PLUS road cycling shoes are lightweight SPORT-level shoes combining a carbon-reinforced sole, quick closure and effective ventilation. They are well suited to recreational riders seeking reliable footwear for training, longer rides and regular road cycling.

The NRG Air Carbon Reinforced sole has a stiffness index of 8.0 and provides a balanced combination of power transfer and riding comfort. Its carbon-reinforced construction helps transfer pedalling power efficiently, while five ventilation openings improve airflow through the sole area.

The sole construction also allows optional installation of mountain bike SPD cleats, which are commonly used on stationary bikes in sports clubs. This requires separately purchased Northwave MTB SPD cleat adapter plates and opening the footbed at the designated location.

The seamless unibody upper construction helps reduce pressure points and creates a smoother, more consistent fit around the foot. Four breathable mesh inserts and perforations across the entire upper improve ventilation and help maintain comfort in warmer riding conditions.

The SLW3 micrometric dial, combined with an additional hook-and-loop strap, provides fast and precise fit adjustment. The dial allows step-by-step release or complete opening with a single button movement, while the lower strap secures the forefoot.
