The Shimano Ultegra PD-R8000 +4 mm SPD-SL road pedals deliver race-level performance with low weight and outstanding power transfer. The lightweight carbon composite pedal body and extra-wide platform provide excellent stability and efficient power transfer on every pedal stroke.

This version features a 4 mm longer axle, increasing the distance between the crank and the rider’s foot position. It allows riders with naturally wider hips to maintain better leg alignment and achieve a more comfortable pedaling position.

The SPD-SL system was originally developed for professional road racing where optimal power transfer and durability are essential. Wider bearing spacing distributes loads evenly for greater stability, while the stainless steel contact plate improves wear resistance. Adjustable release tension allows riders to fine-tune pedal engagement according to their preference.
