Ski Wax RED CREEK FLOUR FREE RACING LILAC +2°/-12°C 140g
Solid fluor-free racing paraffin for coarse-grained, old and artificial snow in the range +2…-12°C.
Also suitable for universal use. “Old Fashion” is the code name for new fluor-free paraffins that perform and feel similar to the former Red Creek fluorinated paraffins. High-quality wax with excellent dirt repellence and glide. This is a professional-level fluor-free racing wax used by leading national ski teams, including Norway and Sweden. Made in Sweden. The package contains 140 grams of paraffin — at a similar price, this is 2–3 times more than most other manufacturers offer!
Example of race waxing
1st layer: Red Creek base wax,
2nd layer: optionally (e.g. for marathons) Red Creek Cold / Violet paraffin can be used as an intermediate layer,
3rd layer: Red Creek racing paraffin selected according to the conditions.
Application
Melt the paraffin onto the ski base using a waxing iron and spread it evenly. Allow the paraffin to cool. Clean the ski grooves from tip to tail and then scrape the entire ski base free of excess paraffin. Brush either with a stiff nylon brush (RC040) or start with a brown brush (RC056) and finish with a fine nylon brush (Red Creek blue RC039 or white RC044). To speed up the process, use suitable rotary brushes. The skis are now ready to race.
The Swedish company Red Creek is considered the world’s leading manufacturer of ski maintenance products, having invented and perfected many tools widely used today, including rotary brushes. In recent years, Red Creek has also focused intensively on the development of ski waxes. The result is top-level professional products used by many national ski teams, including Norway and Sweden.
