Shimano GRX FC-RX820-2 HOLLOWTECH II 2x12-speed crankset is purpose-built for gravel and cyclocross riding, delivering the perfect balance between low weight and maximum efficiency. As the latest evolution of Shimano’s gravel-specific GRX groupset, it offers high-end performance with outstanding reliability.
The 48/31T chainring combination is optimised for gravel demands, providing a wide gear range while maintaining tighter gear steps to preserve cadence on rough surfaces. Paired with an 11-34 or 11-36 cassette, it delivers versatile gearing for fast flats, long gravel climbs and steep ascents alike.
The HOLLOWTECH II construction ensures excellent stiffness and efficient power transfer, while the 151 mm Q-factor and 47 mm chainline are optimised for wider tyres and gravel frame geometry. The 2x12 system remains compatible with most 700c wheelsets thanks to the proven HG freehub body design.
