The new SHIMANO FC-RX810-2 crankset is purpose-built for gravel and mixed-terrain riding, delivering an optimal balance of weight, stiffness and pedalling efficiency. The HOLLOWTECH II construction ensures excellent power transfer while keeping overall weight low, making it ideal for long and demanding rides on variable surfaces.
The 48-31T chainring combination with a 17-tooth difference provides a wide yet well-stepped gear range tailored to gravel riding. It allows you to maintain a smooth cadence on rough roads, loose gravel and fast tarmac sections alike. The 46.9 mm chainline improves compatibility with frames designed for wider tyres, meeting the specific requirements of modern gravel bikes.
