The Shimano Deore XT FC-M8100-1 is a high-performance 1x12 MTB crankset designed for aggressive and technical riding. The updated construction features direct mount chainrings and a dedicated MTB tooth profile to ensure maximum chain retention on rough terrain.
With DYNAMIC CHAIN ENGAGEMENT+ technology, the chainring profile enhances chain grip and reduces the risk of chain drops. The hollow-forged HOLLOWTECH II crank arms provide exceptional stiffness and efficient power transfer while keeping overall weight low – ideal for racing and demanding trail use.
A 172 mm Q-factor and 52 mm chainline are optimized for modern 142/148 mm O.L.D. frame standards, ensuring a stable pedaling stance and wide compatibility. The crankset is supplied without a chainring, allowing riders to choose the preferred size for their riding style.
