The GIRO AEROHEAD MIPS II is GIRO’s most aerodynamic time trial helmet to date, developed for elite-level triathlon and time trial performance. Its shape was created using CFD analysis and virtual reality, then validated in the wind tunnel with world-class riders from Team Visma–Lease a Bike.

Mips® Air Node technology helps reduce rotational forces transferred to the head during certain angled impacts. This lightweight and highly ventilated solution is integrated into the helmet without compromising fit or cooling. The helmet complies with both CPSC and CE EN1078 safety standards.

Two oversized vented eye shields by ZEISS® Optics are included: VIVID® Smoke and Clear. Magnetic anchor points allow the shields to be installed and removed quickly, while their position away from the rider’s face provides a wide field of vision and allows air to flow over the brow and beneath the lens.

Over-brow ventilation, deep internal channeling and the Roc Loc® 5+ Air system guide cooling air through the helmet and help exhaust warm air. A pluggable front vent allows airflow to be adapted to riding conditions while preserving the helmet’s aerodynamic profile.

The Roc Loc® 5+ Air fit system and Super Fit™ engineering provide a stable, precise and race-focused fit. Slimline webbing reduces unnecessary bulk, while Ionic+™ antimicrobial padding helps keep the inside of the helmet fresher during intense use.

The GIRO AEROHEAD MIPS II weighs 450 grams in size medium and includes a padded carrying pod for safe storage and transport of the helmet and eye shields. It is designed for riders seeking maximum aerodynamic efficiency, excellent visibility and elite-level race functionality.
