The Shimano Ultegra SM-BBR60 is a lightweight and high-performance HOLLOWTECH II bottom bracket designed for road cycling. Engineered for use with the Ultegra FC-6800 crankset, it fits frames with an Italian thread (M36 x 24T) and a 70 mm bottom bracket shell width.
The external bearing design improves weight distribution and increases stiffness, delivering efficient power transfer and greater stability under load. Compared to the previous model, the SM-BBR60 features smaller bearings to reduce overall weight while maintaining durability. The enhanced sealing system reduces rotational resistance by up to 50%, ensuring smoother pedalling and improved drivetrain efficiency.
Built to Shimano’s exacting standards, this bottom bracket is ideal for racing and high-intensity training. Compatible tool adapters include TL-FC25 and TL-FC37 for precise installation.
