The GRX family represents Shimano’s first gravel-specific component range, developed through extensive research and real-world rider feedback.
The 46-30T chainring combination offers a wide gear range for steep climbs and high speeds on flat or descending sections. A 2.5 mm wider chainline (46.9 mm) provides increased tyre clearance and improved frame compatibility. The 151 mm Q-factor ensures a natural pedalling stance, while the 2-piece design enhances stiffness and efficiency under load.
