The FSA NS SMR stem is a key component on MERIDA REACTO 5000 models from 2022 onwards and is designed for modern road and gravel bikes. Its innovative Smart Cable Routing (SMR) system allows handlebar or stem replacement without disconnecting brake or shift cables.

The SMR system integrates cable routing through the stem and headset, supporting both fully internal and semi-integrated cable paths. In semi-integrated mode, cables run beneath the stem under an adjustable aerodynamic SMR cover, compatible with various handlebars.

Manufactured from durable AL6061 aluminum, the stem is 3D forged and CNC machined. Chromoly hardware and an alloy faceplate ensure secure and reliable cockpit stiffness.
