The Shimano WH-MT500 29" rear wheel offers outstanding value for XC, marathon, touring and all-mountain riding. A new, lighter bearing system with labyrinth and contact seals rolls smoothly and lasts. The Center-Lock interface ensures fast, secure rotor setup.

The 622×24C aluminum rim fits clincher tires (recommended 29×2.00–2.40). Twenty-four stainless-steel spokes with brass nipples add reliability. A steel freehub body supports Shimano 8/9/10 cassettes and MTB 11-speed. Quick-release (QR) makes compatibility easy.
