Reduced derailleur tension in low gears minimizes excessive chain tension, resulting in a quieter and smoother drivetrain. An added bumper on the derailleur body dampens vibrations, while larger 13T pulleys enhance chain management and efficiency. SHIMANO SHADOW RD+ technology ensures chain stability on aggressive and technical terrain.

The SGS (long cage) version is compatible with 10–51T 12-speed cassettes, offering the widest gear range for single chainring setups. The low-profile design protects the derailleur from trail impacts while maintaining precise shifting performance.
