The Shimano CUES BR-U8000 / BL-U8000 is a modern 2-piston hydraulic disc brake system designed for trekking and e-bike use. It integrates seamlessly with the CUES U8000 groupset, delivering reliable stopping power and excellent control in all riding conditions.
The redesigned 3-finger BL-U8000 brake lever features improved ergonomics, with the pivot point positioned closer to the handlebar for a more natural feel and enhanced control. Outstanding modulation ensures precise braking force throughout the entire lever stroke – particularly beneficial for the higher speeds and weight of e-bikes.
The lightweight 2-piston BR-U8000 Postmount caliper, supported by ICE TECHNOLOGIES, provides consistent and efficient braking performance. The banjo-type connection and internal hose routing simplify installation. The One-Way Bleeding system and J-kit hose connection allow quick and easy assembly.
